Join us for the DEKA World Championships
November 19 + 20 in Atlantic City, NJ
2 epic days of celebrating fitness for all levels.
Day 1: DEKA FIT. Open heats available for registration now! Elite & Age Group may qualify at any of the 6 U.S. DEKA FIT qualifier events. Qualifiers will be announced September 30, 2022.
Day 2: DEKA STRONG & DEKA MILE. Open heats are now available for registration. Elite & Age Group may qualify at any of the DEKA STRONG & DEKA MILE qualifier events at our DEKA Gym/Club/Studio Affiliates. The last weekend to qualify is September 17/18 and the last day to submit marks is September 19. Qualifiers will be announced September 30, 2022.
How to qualify for DEKA World Championships as an elite category athlete:
DEKA FIT qualification
➔ Must compete in a Regional Series DEKA FIT (x1 minimum – Must be an Elite Wave) prior to World Championships
➔ Must finish the qualifying season with a top 12 DEKA FIT Mark (time).
➔ 6 DEKA FIT Series races leading up to DEKA Championships will have podium for top 3 male & female: 1st – $1,000, 2nd – $500, 3rd – $250
DEKA MILE qualification
➔ must compete in a DEKA MILE (x1 minimum) prior to World Championships.
➔ Must finish the qualifying season with a top 12 Overall DEKA MILE Mark (time).
DEKA STRONG qualification
➔ Must compete in a DEKA STRONG (x1 minimum)
➔ Must finish the qualifying season with a top 12 Overall DEKA STRONG Mark (time).
DEKA Championship qualifying opportunities for DEKA FIT, DEKA MILE, & DEKA STRONG
ends the day of the final DEKA FIT Series event.
An athlete can qualify for DEKA Championships in 1, 2, or all 3 DEKA events.
How to qualify for DEKA World Championships as an age group/competitive category athlete:
Age groups for male & female: 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
DEKA FIT qualification
➔ Must compete in a Regional Series DEKA FIT (x1 minimum – must be a Competitive/Age Group Wave)
➔ Must finish the qualifying season with a top 12 Competitive/Age Group DEKA FIT
Mark (time).
DEKA MILE qualification
➔ Must compete in a DEKA MILE (x1 minimum)
➔ Must finish the qualifying season with a top 12 Competitive/Age Group DEKA MILE Mark
(time).
DEKA STRONG qualification
➔ Must compete in a DEKA STRONG (x1 minimum)
➔ Must finish the qualifying season with a top 12 Competitive/Age Group DEKA STRONG Mark (time).
An athlete can qualify for DEKA Championships in 1, 2, or all 3 DEKA events.
Open Heats
As DEKA is designed for all levels of Fitness, we will also have open heats for DEKA FIT/DEKA MILE/DEKA STRONG. Be part of this epic event, watch the championship heats AND earn your DEKA mark.
For the open heats you don’t need to qualify, but you DO need to commit!
DEKA Championships Prizes:
DEKA FIT (Elite):
- Podium prize money for top 5: 1st – $3,000, 2nd – $2,000, 3rd – $1,000
- 4th – $500, 5th – $250
- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place receive a DEKA FIT Championship Spartan RAM Trophy
DEKA MILE (Elite):
- Podium prize money for top 5: 1st – $3,000, 2nd – $2,000, 3rd – $1,000

DEKA Championships Registration Rolldown
Registration will open after the West Palm DEKA FIT event in September. Emails will be sent out to all qualifying athletes. Athletes will be given a 1 week period to register. At the end of this registration period, if spots remain open, an email rolldown will take place until all 12 spots are filled.
