Celebrating Fitness on a Higher Level!

After a two year wait, DEKA FIT Denver came to life this past Saturday and the Mile High City celebrated fitness with the largest crowd in DEKA history! All levels of fitness from all over the U.S. came together once again and earned their DEKA FIT Marks!  We especially want to say thank you to all the engaged volunteers that helped us make this event so special! Here are some of the event highlights:

He Did It Again!

DEKA FIT and DEKA MILE World Record Holder, Ryan Kent, defended his crown with a DEKA FIT Mark of 31:02 followed by Veejay Jones (32:30) and Mark Gaudet (33:15). It was definitely our deepest men’s elite field to date!

In the women’s elite category, Annie Brunner, the owner of the DEKA Affiliate gym Alpine CrossFit, came in first with a DEKA FIT Mark of 40:10, followed by Talitha Scholtz (40:28) and Sarah Rich (41:32).

You can find all other results on the Denver DEKA FIT leaderboard.

DEKA FIRE – The Bodyweight Fitness Test for All Ages and All Levels of Fitness!

In addition to the big event, competitors, families and guests measured their fitness by participating in the bodyweight DEKA FIRE test. Moving forward, we will offer DEKA FIRE at all upcoming DEKA FIT events – no sign-up required. It’s the perfect opportunity for young athletes to earn their very first DEKA Mark! You can also try DEKA FIRE ???? at home.

DEKA Stories we LOVE:

I wanted the thank the DEKA Team for giving my son Cameron such an amazing experience. We are all so proud that he was even able to complete this course. My son has Crohn’s disease and 6 months ago he had 33 inches of his small/large intestines removed. But he did not refuse to give up. Thanks for believing in my son.
